i´ve heard allmans doin´ wild and raw black hearted woman > too jam and grate franklins. the best dead covers i´ve ever heard

I had seen the Allmans tease Franklins several times over the years. They finally broke it out after a long teasing intro (which I thought was just that ,a tease) and the crowd went NUTS!!!! One of my better Allman moments and I have had a HEAP!!

"btownsparky:" ...you're right, "Jane's Addiction" played "Ripple" for a benefit CD, "Deadicated." ...I think it is one of the best interpretations of a "Grateful Dead" song I have ever heard. More info is here:
